East Cork Early Music is delighted to announce an upcoming Viol Workshop led by acclaimed gambist and early music specialist Nick Milne. Hosted in the stunning surroundings of Fota House, this session offers a fantastic opportunity for enthusiasts to explore the unique repertoire and techniques of the lyra viol and tablature reading. Players must bring their own instruments. Places for active participants are limited to ensure personalised instruction.
Non-players and early music lovers are warmly invited to attend as spectators to learn about the viol, observe the masterclass and enjoy the musical demonstrations.
