Official tourism website for Cork, Ireland

The Cork Singers’ Club is a unique group of singers who gather to celebrate unaccompanied singing. The club has celebrated each Spirit of Mother Jones festival since 2012 with traditional songs of social justice reflecting the working lives of people.

One can experience the feel and history of Cork city by listening and absorbing the atmosphere created by the Bean nó Fear a Tí who conduct the session, as the many voices of regular singers and guests rise and fall and join in harmony during the course of a pleasant evening in the convivial surroundings of the festival as they remember Mother Jones and her work for workers rights.

Singers and listeners are welcome every Sunday evening at 7pm in the Spailpín F?nach, South Main Street.
