The Tour de Beara Cycle is a not-for-profit Community led cycling sportive which supports local clubs, charities and community organisations in the Beara peninsula and West Cork generally. In 2026 a total of 40 organisations in West Cork will benefit from the proceeds of the Cycle. In addition, every effort is made to use local suppliers to ensure that as much money as possible goes back into the local economy. After all invoices are paid, over €75,000 will be distributed between the 40 organisations. The Mayor of Cork County has been invited to make the presentation of cheques. Next year's Tour de Beara will be held on Saturday 18th September 2027. Read more Read less
