After a number of successful shows together in Cork and across Ireland, Jinx Lennon and Wasps vs Humans are teaming up once more for a high energy assault on the senses in Fred Zeppelins in Cork on Saturday 25th November.
Dundalk native, Jinx Lennon continues to tour and promote his latest release, ‘Walk Lightly When the Jug is Full’. Take the testifying of James Brown, punk beats, sour sweet Celtic and tuned guitar, mantras about head wreckers with angelic faces, rants about keeping the face uplifted against what you're up against; put it all into a jam jar and shatter it against the wall and that messy blob would look like a Jinx show except it's different every time and never the same twice. Jinx Lennon has released 13 acclaimed albums to date and has supported The Fall and toured with John Cooper Clarke.
Alternative punk folk duo Wasps vs Humans have opened for the likes of John Cooper Clarke, Whipping Boy as well as a daring opening for The Fall. The set includes drums, spoken word, songs and beats. Ranting about celebrity culture, cheap meat, and inner city violence, Wasps vs Humans recently released an EP ‘Hit’ and are releasing a new single in December entitled ‘Price you Pay.’
