Meet Dave Lofts And SAND, the infectious 5-piece indie folk band hailing from the lush south-east of Ireland. United under the roof of HenHouse Records, they're currently recording their debut album and preparing to launch into the global spotlight with their first single 'Tell Me' released on April 21st this year.
Dave's soulful and husky voice, reminiscent of the greats like Paolo Nutini and Shane McGowan, sits at the heart of the band's emotionally charged sound. He handpicked SAND to join him on this journey after years of performing solo, drawn by their musicianship and the chemistry between them.
Dave, a Wicklow native who moved to Waterford as a teenager had already captivated audiences in the south-east with his impressive vocal skills and unique presence before teaming up with S.A.N.D to take his music to the next level. Along the way, he's had the honour of sharing the stage with some of Ireland's most beloved musical icons, including Damien Dempsey, Duke Special, Paddy Casey, Jerry Fish, and Mundy.
The band have just released a live in studio EP entitled ‘HenHouse Sessions Vol.5’ on November 1st and will release 4 singles in 2024 along with extensive touring in the UK and Ireland.
