The 9th Ortús Chamber Music Festival will run from February 25th-March 3rd 2024 in venues around Cork City and County, featuring 10 of the world’s most celebrated classical musicians.

The festival, founded in 2016 by renowned Irish musicians Sinéad O’Halloran and Mairéad Hickey, was set up with the goal of providing performance platforms for some of Ireland’s finest young musicians alongside their international peers.

Committed to highlighting the achievements of Irish musicians and composers on the world stage, while bridging connections with musicians worldwide.

Discover 10 of the world's most famous classical musicians, including: renowned Irish violinist and co-artistic director Mairéad Hickey, an Irish musician of Romanian origin Alex Petcu, Irish soprano Kelley Petcu, French pianist Jérémie Moreau, one of the leading Dutch cellists of her generation Ella Van Poucke, the distinguished violist Karolina Errera, Cork based violinist and violist Marja Gaynor, Dublin-born cellist Aoife Nic Athlaoich, the prestigious Siobhán Armstrong playing the baroque harp and Irish pianist Seán Morgan-Rooney.
