Cork Ferry Port is located in the village of Ringaskiddy, 12 miles south of Cork city centre. It is located in one of the largest natural harbours in the world. The modern port facilities have been developed along the deep waters of the River Lee.
Getting to and from Ringaskiddy
The ferry port at Cork can be reached easily by car or on public transport. If you are driving, take the N25 South link road from Cork city centre and head onto the N28 towards Ringaskiddy village. then follow signs to Cork ferry terminal. Dublin is linked via the N8 and N20 main roads. There is short term and long term parking is available at the ferry port. For those travelling by train. the nearest railway station is Kent Station Cork, located on the Lower Glanmire Road, about a mile from the city centre. An hourly bus servie runs from the railway station to the ferry terminal. The fourteen mile journey takes around 45 minutes.
