As an experienced Failte Ireland registered Tour Guide and accomplished Chef, Dorothy brings both expertise and passion to every tour, making the visit truly special.

Right here in Ireland, the Lynch family pioneered farming dairy water buffalo in 2009 by selling their dairy cows and importing Water Buffalo from Italy. Since then, their family farm has become renowned for producing a range of buffalo milk cheeses and yogurts which are produced in their Cheese Dairy on the farm.

Dorothy has worked closely with the Lynch family for many years, offering visitors valuable perspectives on new and older local farming traditions and Irish rural life in the region. Set in the heart of one of Ireland’s Irish-speaking regions, known as Gaeltachta, this farm tour provides a unique combination of traditional culture, heritage, and an introduction to our native Irish language. During the tour, each visit is educational, memorable, and distinctly Irish.
