Official tourism website for Cork, Ireland

Possibly Ireland's best beach this wide open sandy beach is paradise personified. It's vastness is revealed at low tide and the beach stretches for more than a kilometre either side of the four star Inchydoney Island Lodge and Spa.

The very gentle increase in depth and lifeguards on duty during the summer months makes Inchydoney one of the safest places to swim. Watersports are popular here too and you can learn to surf.

There's a car park and public toilets. Treat yourself to a toasted special or a delicious hot meal at the hotel after a 'tough' day on the sand and surf!
