Experience a part of the Wild Atlantic Way from a different perspective, enjoying the breath-taking scenery and natural birdlife or wildlife that we encounter – it’s not uncommon to spot dolphin and seals on our trips!

You can hire the self-drive and easy to use powerboats or hire single/double kayaks to explore the majestic Bantry Bay from the water, a truly unique experience. No experience is necessary to hire a powerboat or kayak and all guests will receive a safety briefing prior to use.

We also offer Guided Seafood Tours of Bantry Bay when you will learn about the types of fishing in the Bay and taste the freshest seafood you’ll ever taste! We will explore points of interest in Bantry Bay, visit our lobster pots, learn about the mussel farms, scallop fishing and enjoy a brief history about the area. We will then visit Whiddy Island for a sharing bowl of freshly cooked mussels, served with homemade Irish brown bread and a glass of Guinness. You have the option to remain on Whiddy Island to return to Bantry for free on the ferry.

On our Sunset Tour, we will spend an hour exploring Bantry Bay on one of our self-drive powerboats before deciding on our best vantage point to watch the sun go down behind the Caha and Shehy Mountains. The Picturesque Picnic Tour also explores Bantry Bay, over a 1.5hrs duration, and we will stop along the way to enjoy a sharing platter of local artisan food from the three peninsulas of West Cork. A truly magical trip!
