Thompsons Restaurant & Microbrewery offers relaxed, casual dining experience in the vintage setting of Cork's historical Thompsons Bakery. Here you can taste house fermented chilli-sauced up chicken wings, a great homemade Nachos starter along with crusty Pizza Romana, The best Burgers, Juicy Rotisserie Chicken, and delicious healthy style Salads. Our original recipe desserts feature Thompsons Raspberry Swiss Roll and Irish Bread & Butter Pudding - a must try with a pint of our very own Thompsons Lager!
Here at Thompsons we will soon be brewing on site in close collaboration with the Cotton Ball Brewery.
This means we can offer a full range of the finest craft beers straight from our Microbrewery vats to the pumps behind our Bar.
Thompsons Restaurant & Microbrewery has been established in the exact premises used by the Cork's historic Thompsons Bakery. The restaurant preserved many artefacts from the famous bakery and proudly displays them for all the visitors to admire. This includes the original bakery steel tiled floor that has witnessed all the action from the day the bakery was opened in 1826!
