Cork City: Coffee House Lates Returns

Coffee House Lates returns for it's third year, Cork's coffee houses and restaurants are once again set to keep their doors open into the evening later this week for another Coffee House Latés.

Independent cafés and restaurants across the city will stay open late, hosting an exciting programme of events on Thursday, September 24, and Friday, September 25. From live music and poetry to markets and creative experiences, Coffee House Lates transforms participating venues into vibrant hubs of creativity, culture, and connection after dark.

Launched in October 2024 in response to growing demand for alcohol-free evening activities, Coffee House Lates is facilitated by the Cork Business Association (CBA) in partnership with Cork City Council. 

Now in its third year, the initiative showcases Cork's unique café culture while supporting Cork City Council's ambition to expand the city's evening and night-time offering. Events are running from 6pm to 10pm. With many participating venues located within walking distance of one another, visitors can easily create their own Coffee House Lates trail and experience multiple events across the city throughout the evening. 


 Thursday, September 24

Kino Event House: Market and Music An evening market, live music, and a vibrant community atmosphere at Kino Event House. 

Moon Child | Matcha Bar: Mocktails & Magical Moments From 4:00-8:00pm, head to Cork Lotus Yoga Studio for a pop-up market by Sea Dog – an artsy giftshop. Sit in a candlelit studio and enjoy the evening! 

115 Café: Live Music at Night Enjoy live performances from local musicians alongside coffee and conversation between 8:00-10:00pm. 

Alchemy Coffee Cork: Seiörs Cave From 5:00-6:30pm, enjoy a unique late-night gathering featuring poetry, rune stone crafting and conversations on the place of the Seer in modern Ireland. 

Don Gregorio: Tiramisu After Dark Starting at 8:00pm, enjoy a live DJ spinning the best in funk + disco music, tiramisu and coffee. Free Tiramisu for the first 20 people! 

Friday, September 25 

Sabor Brazil: Coffee House Lates DJ Set Serving Brazilian tapas and Maya's Coffee, head to Sabor Brazil from 8:00-10:00pm for a live DJ and delicious bites. 

SOMA Coffee Company: Live music with Ivy Favier From 7:30-9:30pm.

The Lough Café: an evening of live music, great coffee, and a welcoming community atmosphere at The Lough Cafe. 

Bakestone Café: A cosy night of poetry with Vibes and Verses open mic night and artists with a side of delicious warm beverages. 

115 Café: Live performances from Bandjaxed alongside coffee and conversation. 

Don Gregorio: Tiramisu After Dark Starting at 8:00pm, enjoy a live DJ spinning the best in Funk + Disco music, Tiramisu and Coffee.
