Following a string of acclaimed productions, the BA Musical Theatre course from MTU Cork School of Music bring their graduating class back to The Everyman with the dazzling, high-energy musical comedy Legally Blonde.
Based on the beloved film, Legally Blonde follows the journey of Elle Woods, a fashion-savvy sorority president whose life takes an unexpected turn when her boyfriend dumps her to pursue a more serious future. Determined to win him back, Elle enrols at Harvard Law School, only to discover that she is capable of far more than anyone, including herself, ever imagined.
Packed with unforgettable songs, laugh-out-loud moments, and an empowering message about self-belief, friendship and breaking stereotypes, this award-winning musical celebrates the courage to stay true to yourself while reaching for your dreams. This marks the fifth visit of the BA Musical Theatre students from MTU Cork School of Music to The Everyman, following their acclaimed productions of Come from Away, 9 to 5, Our House and The Addams Family. Join this year’s graduating class as they bring this vibrant Broadway hit to life in a production that is as uplifting as it is entertaining.
This exciting new production reunites the acclaimed creative team of director Killian Donnelly, musical director David Hayes and choreographer Thérèse O’Sullivan.
