The Store of Memories Museum is situated in the centre of Inchigeela village, Macroom,Co Cork.

This is a community museum administered by the O’Sullivan family members and voluntary members offers access to a unique corrugated iron all purpose shop built over the Derrivane river in 1912. The Shop traded until 2007.

The Museum collection displays a fascinating social history of village life during that time with its Product Ranges, Memories of past customers,Emigration stories. Amongst the treasures to be found are:

Letters from villagers from the parish circa 1908-1913, credit ledger books from 1917-1980s

The history of Dora O’Sullivan, local District Nurse & Midwife from 1916-1956 who was ON-CALL from this shop, her family home
