The village of Ballydehob can look forward to a bumper weekend of Irish traditional music as the fifteenth annual Ballydehob Traditional Music Festival returns to the village on next weekend Friday, April 8th – Sunday, April 10th. Headlining this year’s festival line-up is two of Ireland’s finest traditional groups ‘Four Men and a Dog’ and the ‘Máirtín O’Connor Trio’.
Tickets for the concert are €20 and can be purchased in advance from Camier’s Gala, online at our festival website or at the door on the evening. Following the concert each evening, the pub session trail will again fill the village with Irish traditional music starting at 10pm featuring a host of guest musicians in Rosie’s Bar, Irish Whip, Sandboat Bar and Levis’s Corner Bar
The Festival organisers wish to pay tribute to their main sponsors Cork County Council and to the support they have received in maintaining and promoting the proud tradition of Irish music in the village.
