Pure Cork Like

A video sharing social media campaign. We invite you to share a short video clip of yourself (feel free to get your family involved too!) telling us what it is that you like about Cork.

Over the next 3 weeks Pure Cork will be using our social media accounts to encourage you an all our followers to share a short video, under 20 seconds long, telling us and your own followers what it is that you like about Cork.

It can be your favourite restaurant/café/pub, your favourite place to stay, your most memorable moment in Cork, your favourite place to visit in Cork, where you would recommend people go when they can next travel to Cork, etc. – simply anything at all you like about Cork.

Pure Cork will give a Like for Like, like.

We want you to record a video, something very simple, in portrait mode like you would take a selfie, and share the video on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook tagging Pure Cork and using the hashtag #PureCorkLike. We will also encourage you to send us your videos via WhatsApp, by doing so you will give us permission to use your video in a compilation video that we will be creating with snippets from all the best entries.

The campaign will begin on Monday 25th of January 2021 and will run over a 3-week period.

And to thank you for taking part in #PureCorkLikes and uploading your video, we will choose 2 weekly winners who will receive a €100 voucher each.

In summary,

  • Video yourself telling us in less than 20 seconds what place in Cork you most like to visit and why people should go there when they can travel again.
  • Upload it to Instagram, Facebook and/or Twitter tagging Pure Cork and using the #PureCorkLike hashtag.
  • WhatsApp your video to 087 100 7882 – by doing so you are giving permission for your video to be used in a video compilation by Pure Cork that will be shared on our social media accounts.
  • By WhatsApp’ing us the video you will be in with the chance to win one of two weekly prizes of a €100 voucher, AND
  • Your video could be featured as part of an international tourism campaign, so you could be richer and even more famous internationally. Result, like.
