This is the grand dame in Cork's Old Town, Ireland's largest whiskey bar housed in one of the country's most beautiful bars. Food served 7 days a week – brunch & steaks a speciality! Winner of Cork's Best Food Pub – VFI Pub of the year awards 2017, Winner of Cork's Best Tourist Pub – VFI Pub of the year awards 2018. Open late Friday nights, Saturday nights and Bank Holidays. Enjoy live traditional Irish Music from 7pm-9pm, Sunday to Thursday with the Old Town Sessions.

Our building was known as St Peters Market or the Irish Market built by the City Council following political changes brought about by Catholic Emancipation and as a rival to the nearby English market where natives were not welcome.

We have had a turbulent time since existing through revolutions, floods and cultural change, going from market, to munitions factory to clothing factory and in a way back now to our roots. Join us on this culinary voyage, libations advised – let us take you on a journey.
